Keeping Supply Up During Business Trip

DD (will be 5mo at the time) is EBF and I have a 3-4 day stretch where I will not be able to nurse her. due to a work trip I can pump throughout and was thinking I'd pump every 3 hours but I am terrified this is going to mess up my supply permanently. Any advice? Should I try to pump more than every 3 hours? How many times per day should I shoot for to pump? Will my supply return to normal?

How often does your baby nurse right now?

Your supply will be established by then, so I don't think you will need to pump any more often than three hours. Do you pump now already? Do you respond well to pumping?

Thanks. Yes I pump now and can almost always get 5 oz if I pump in the AM. I can usually get 3-4 later in the day. She nurses every 2-4 hours and once or twice at night right now.
