lol never thought I would be so excited about something that is going to be so hard... Wait there was labor...

I meet with my lactation consultant in just 2 and a half hours (4:30) a little less. We are going to start by just using the symphony breast pump and seeing if that works. If it doesn't seem to be working though my doctor said he will prescribe me Reglan (domperidone is not legal here). I also have mother milk plus tincture by mothers love. I started taking that awhile ago then realized without having and efficient pump and her only doing like 3 sucks then getting frustrated probably wasnt doing a whole lot so decided to wait until today to start taking it again. So I just took some about an hour ago and my boobs are already tingley hurting.

Hopefully within 6 weeks to 2 months they are hoping I will be able to exclusively breast feed her again!

Good luck! I'm not re-lactating but started my journey to exclusively breastfeed rather than mixed yesterday so I do kind of understand what you're going through and how hard it will be! My DD is 3 days older than your LO.

So I got my symphony breast pump... Pumped for 10 minutes got drops but thats all they expected... Got two hours then time to go again.

Might end up either starting a journal or using this as one.

Thanks for all the good lucks everyone. Pumped at 8:30 10:30 and then 2:30 then 6:50, 9:00... dew for another around 11 or so. Not getting anything but a couple of LITTLE drops. Hopefully will pick up soon.

Didnt get to pump till almost 12 Athena was cranky and OH was at work so she was all mine to deal with lol. So I pumped at 12 then around 2 then around 4 then 6 and just now at 8:10 or so. I guess I am doing alright but I think my breastshields are the wrong size... GRRRR Just one thing after another. The things we do for these little loves.

So were on a search for a store with a larger breastshield... Skins being torn off pumping so a tad bit of a break till i get one (hopefully later today). Other then that I am awaiting word for a drs appt for my reglan prescription... then I should be well on my way.
