kick counts and hiccups??

When doing kick counts do each hiccup count as one movement? Or should I wait til the hiccups pass and start over?

I have a leaflet from my hospital that they gave me after I went to be checked out because of reduced movement and it states that hiccups DO NOT count as movement.

My leaflet says the same as mummy's. They dont count as movement. My baby gets the hiccups so often. Its crazy!

Hiccups don't count because they are considered an involuntary movement. A baby could be in distress but still hiccup. That's what my doctor said anyways.
