I would get your bubs checked just in case. I'm sure everything is OK but to ease your mind. With my 3 year old I constantly have to avoid her being close to my bump because she is super active and also has tantrum moment. So not fun :&
I don't have any experience with this but i'd say your baby has enough cushioning around him. if you experience any bleeding or are really in pain then I would get checked but try not to worry.
my dr's office allows the workers to bring their children to the office. His nurse's son is about 1 /12 i suppose and was running full speed with no brakes and my belly while i sat in the waiting area was his wall. it hurt for a little bit and then went away. I would say to call your dr though if it continues to hurt. I keep my boys far and away because I can see something happening.
my daughter does that too i turned the changing mat around so the top part lifts her legs higher and i just put a little pillow under her head. it helps so she doesn't kick my stomach cause her feet are now chest hight. i know what your thinking a kick in the face and boobs hurt but its better than the belly. i wouldn't take chances of my daughter hurting the baby or damaging the placenta who knows.
My 4 1/2 stone dog tried jumping on my stomach about a week ago and it bloody hurt. I gave my midwife a call and she said as long as there is no lasting pain, cramping or bleeding then I should be fine as baby is well cushioned.
Maybe give your doctor/midwife a call just to put your mind at rest as everyone said the same thing to me and I still panicked
When I was 25 weeks pregnant with my little girl I fell over really hard and landed straight on my bump. I also fell up the stairs onto my bump too I got checked out at the hospital both times and all was fine; they reassured me that babies are extremely well cushioned in there and it would take quite a blow to hurt them. Now that I'm pregnant again my little girl (who is almost 4) is constantly running into my bump and accidentally kicking it! I do worry sometimes but then I try to remember how well protected baby is. If you are really worried or are experiencing any pain or bleeding/discharge then go get checked out but I'm sure all is absolutely fine xx
I agree with what others have said - if pain subsides and there is no cramping, bleeding or waters leaking I wouldn't worry too much. If you want to call nurses line then do that as well, maybe they will have more suggestions? Hope all will be well
My DD is a kicker and get me every time i change her bum/ brush her teeth. Sometimes hard with shoes on!!! I would Just monitor pain/movement. Everything more than likely fine but if you really worried call your midwife.
kids ay!!! Who'd have 'em?
My bump is constantly getting kicked, elbowed, leaned on and bounced on! So frustrating cause she knows there's a baby in there!! But everything fine, as already said there's plenty there to cushion the baby. X
