Kindle or Kindle fire

So is it just the older kindles that do it? Not the kindle touch?

It seems to be the 2nd gen lot from watching the clip... I've had my Kindle for nearly 3 years and it's still going strong.

I don't really tend to like Watchdog anyway, and I am a bit "hmm" about this report. To me, it's very unusual (unless you have bought an extra/extended warranty) to expect endless replacements. You get a year's warranty with the first device, then 3 months for any replacement device, included in the cost of the Kindle. That seems pretty fair to me, but maybe I'm just used to buying extended warranties for something which I rely on

\Should i just get extended warranty which ever one i get?

I wouldn't bother with warranty my mums smashed her screen twice and they just replaced it anyway!
