La Bassine Pool - help, anyone?

I loaned my pool to a friend this weekend. She has contacted me to say they can't get it to stay inflated. She says they followed the instructions to the letter and they've blown it up 3x but it just won't stay up. (Please stop sniggering!! Ahem!) She said that it didn't seem to be damaged in any way and they thought the air was leaking from the black valve.

Any ideas why this might be happening? Any advice? Maybe they are over inflating it?!!

I wish I could see the instructions, but I can't because every time I try to view them online my lappy crashes! GRrrrrr!!!

There is probably a hole somehwere that they can't find. Or maybe the black valve is broken. Even if you over inflate it should stay inflated. Air should not be leaking.
