So I don't know if this is normal or not but i'm 27 weeks and I have been on vacation for about a week and the baby seems to not be moving near as much as she usually does. Is that normal for this time in pregnancy? When she does move it feels like its really low down where as before it was around my belly button now its right where my jeans do up.

i dont think its normal... because usually around that time they are overly active.. so you should definitely talk to your OB so they can do some testing

Yeah i advise to go and see someone. You wont be wasting anyones time and you will have your mind put at ease! Its better to be safe than sorry :hugs:

babies do have growth spurts when they move less, but the best thing to do is get it checked out just to put your mind at ease :) x

I agree with Sophiiie. Babies do tend to have times where you don't feel them move as much, but if you are concerned, go get checked out. They will monitor your baby's heartbeat and check all ok.

Oh yea, try iced water! They made me drink lots of it when they were unhappy with a trace i had after bleeding. After 3-4 cups of ice cold water the lil bugger got a wiggle on lol :)

My LO had quite stages, one being around 27 weeks too.
I agree with the other girls who have said about growth spurts, if you are worried though then give your MW a call :)
x

My LO has had quiet stages as well. Plus, she was very quiet while I was on vacation. I think all the movement and excitement just rocks her to sleep.
I'd try the ice water trick, or a cold sugary drink then wait.
If nothing, i'd go ahead and call.

You know your babies movements. I cant stress enough how important it is to go get checked out if you think your babies movements are reduced. Its not normal for your baby to be less active.

It might just be that becuse you've been on hols and doing lots of fun stuff that you haven't noticed bubs as much?
Try drinking an ice cold fizzy drink [like everyone else said!] and lying down on your left side [the blood flows better when you're on your left] and see what happens..xx

I have noticed more movement since i got home so it could have been that i was just busy doing stuff so i didnt notice her as much but im going to see my OB tomorrow morning just in case
