I know Im still a week off 3rd tri but I feel like things are more relevant over here.

I realised about half an hour ago that I havnt felt the baby move since early this morning when I got up, about 8am. I have been sat down most of the day, so I dont think I would have missed any movement. I drank a glass of ice water as soon as I realised and have been sat still since, but still nothing. Baby is normally VERY active, this is totally out of character.

As I typed the first section she has moved a little, but still nothing like normal, they are very small weak movements like I was getting when I first felt her move.

What should I do? Do I phone the antenatal ward or is weak movement enough movement? :nope:  xxx

They do sleep a fair bit too. But you have had movement. Mine hasnt moved much today either, he's probably snoring his head off.

Or you could blare some music, mine responds quite crazily to Pendulum lol

edit/Yup Pendulum just woke mine up big time! haha

baby could have moved i had a panic at 27 weeks my baby had turned and was facing my back but always ring a mw if yr worried x

If in doubt, call. Good luck, am sure she's fine :hugs: x

Give your midwife or you labour ward a ring hun, in fact id just ring labour as thats probably what the midwife would say to do anyway! xx

I'd give your MW a call hun just to be on the safe side x

Have you tried laying on your side? Really gets mine going for some reason. If you are really worried of course call x x

Bloody number is engaged...

She had a little spasm and stopped moving again  Im getting quite worried now xx

They told me to come in to get checked out, now Im even more worried  xx

I'm sure everything will be fine but it doesn't hurt to get piece of mind. Let us know how you get on :hugs:

Hi Pixxie <3

Just wanted to add that my girl has done this constantly.. have these quiet days where you feel them but no where near as much, my bump goes down as well a bit, she nestles right into my back. I've just had 2 really quiet days but she seems to have picked up a bit today. It's normal, but don't stress in silence x

aw honey my girl is the same she has quiet days too - good to get checked out though especially if it puts your mind at ease :hugs:

Have you tried slamming a door? They recommend that in 3rd tri as baby has a startle reflex and it might wake her up? x

The same thing happened to me too late in the second tri, I was so worried... It happens to a lot of girls around 26 weeks. It still to this day happens where I dont feel him as much and I panic. Hopefully everything is okay and you will be at ease after your appointment! :)

I still get some quiet periods but I remember when I was 26 weeks I was still having quiet days. I think it’s to do with the position they are in. I'm sure that it’s nothing to be worried about but it’s always good to have it checked out anyway

As the other Girls have said, better to get it checked, if your worried

But, I am sure she is having a quiet day, or changed position....Children like to worry you....:baby:

Thanks everyone, of course as soon as the monitor was on she decided she didnt like it and was kicking the sensor :dohh: Took ages to get a proper reading as apparently its hard to get a consistent one at 26 weeks, but we got there in the end. Im so glad shes ok, she scared me and OH to death the little madam xx
