I am 35 and my husband 44. As we were focused on our career, now it's time for kids. Its now or never I say with our ages. Since January we have been trying, but not consistent. We skipped critical days because we were tired ,etc. This month I planned to try for 2 weeks straight every other day. No need to opk (even though I am), temp (even though I am) and count days. We should hit the day right??? So now we are finishing our two week extravaganza on Sunday an hope for the best.

same here ! I'm 35 and TTC#1 since January 2014. I skipped my ovulation too because my cycles weren't very regular ( but not that bad, C1 was 26days and C2 was 30)
Now I'm entering my fertile window. I've been charting this month.. and we'll see !
Did you take BCP before? cycles are regular?

Cycles are regular. Have never been on birth control. Our lives are hectic and super stressful so Im hoping this does not play factor in not conceiving. For us every other day for 2 weeks is LESS stressful then relying on other ovulation predictors. We shall see.

Keep us posted on how you're doing. I'm 33 and DH is 38, and we just got married last July and hopped right on the train to babytown because we wanted to get started. Up until this past month, I'd just been tracking BD and AF, and letting things happen. I also have regular cycles, but was on BCP for 12+ years. Now I'm temping to see if that changes anything for us. But with EOD BD, you should be able to catch something! It's supposed to be able to live up there for 5-7 days, so FX for you.

Lol we stepped up BDing too (every day for 2 weeks). I'm exhausted, but it's fun I'm 26 (almost) and DH is 27. We've been married for 6 years. January is when we decided it was time to start our family, but I decided to finish my bc pack. Withdrawal bleeding was feb 10 and I definitely ovulated that first month. AF came march 11th and I used OPKs to confirm O. Now, just in the tww... Probably going to go a little crazy waiting.

You know, I found my libido came back majorly when coming of bc. And, some women often get a heightened sex drive during the right time to BD, and that's me, definitely. I started the ferning test which is BRILLIANT and we too have hectic lives. I have a disability which takes a lot of attention and I work voluntarily. But definitely trying must be fun as stress is never good.

My chart this month shows I have either Od or am currently Oing - and we BD'd a couple of days ago, so I'm hoping the sperm are waiting patiently .

I also PRAY I have a long luteal phase as I think that's been an issue with me.

I'm supposed to O very soon, I BD every other days too and same here with the crazy life ! my husband works nights, so it's hard to find a moment.
Glad I can't talk with you girls ! I hope we all get it in april !!

By the calendar, my TWW started today, but FF isn't confirming my O with temps, so I'm either a day or two out, or I didn't O and this cycle will be anovulatory. This is my first cycle temping, so I'm still getting the hang of it. Babydust for everyone!

same for me, first month using temp and FF didn't detect O yet.. It should be pretty soon.. or I did already? I had 2 days of EWCM.. so I'm not sure...

I have been doing opks and temping and I never seem to see the rise in temp. I am consistently bw 97-97.8. I thought I was in tune with my body until now. My BF said "you dont know when you ovulate? I can feel like?" Im like what???????? So concerned I too dont ovulate...we shall see.

I've also never felt it when an egg 'drops.' My mom could only tell out of one ovary. I wouldn't worry about it and just trust the temps and okps.

I'm good! 8 dpo (approx. ran out of OPKs) and had some pelvic pain while running. I got so excited thinking it was implantation, but we shall wait and see. No other symptoms, but I'm not too worried about that since most show up 2 weeks after missed period.

How's everyone else? Going crazy? Hopeful? Symptoms?

just little twinges now, pressure gone. think I was very out of touch with my body and never realized these things before. accepting that it probably wont happen this month because of the antihistamine use. Stressing of a career decision these last week and having to make a final decision by the middle of the month.

Same here, I don't know if I O'd.. and FF didn't detect anything.. No symptoms, just Ewcm recently.. so I have NO idea !
I hope it was implantation for you Khigg19 ! what about you girls, did you get a temp rise afterall?

My temps are all over the place, but was 98.3 this am, the highest its ever been.
