I'll have to ge the recipie for playdough at this rate it will cost me a fortune!

Awwww

Lauz
Traditional Play Dough
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • food coloring
Mix all ingredients, adding food coloring last. Stir over medium heat until smooth. Remove from pan and knead until blended smooth. Place in plastic bag or airtight container when cooled. Will last for a long time.

I use this recipe, dead easy to do just make sure you keep stirring or you will bugger your pan :)

Jo do you not find the food colouring comes off on their hands or clothes etc?

it doesn't make a mark hun
the only tip i have is let them play with in kitchen or on laminate as it can be a bitch to get off the carpet, you have to wiat til it dries hard then brush off:dohh:

The other thing is wrap it in cling film and keep in fridge in airtight cotainer if possible and it lasts for ages

Maddie's paints arrived today .... :dohh:

WTF have i done lol

ha ha ha ha ha
Even I haven't attempted that yet

Oh sorry i tell a lie
