Well I had the lap and dye yesterday and everything was FINE. So relieved as I was sure that something was wrong with my tubes - had had reflexology and the woman had said that the part of my foot that represents my fallopian tubes was really 'poppy' on both sides. The result is that I have been paranoid ever since that they were blocked.
The doc said that we would now discuss IUI at my next appointment - hope it is not too long!!!

Bit sore now but it is worth it!

glad everything went fine...i had a lap & dye on 3rd feb and am now 6 weeks pregnant :) im sure it was down to the lap & dye as didnt do anything differently last mth!!! try & stay rested for a few days, everyones different but i found walking little & often helped with the gas pain in my shoulder.

good luck & if u dont get a bfp soon then i hope the iui is successful for you xx

Thanks Katy. I read your posts and so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I am as lucky! At least things are now moving on and I know there is no physical reason for us not to get pregnant! I am due to ovulate any day so hoping I am not too sore to DTD!!!!

Hope you are feeling well?

xx

glad to hear it all went well for you! fab news and hope that the appointment comes through soon. :hugs: xxx

Thanks - think we must have been ttc for about the same amount of time - we are on cycle 13 now! Hope it is going ok for you xx

yeah we are about the same time. did you find the lap and dye painful hun? do you have a diagnosis or is this part of the fertility investigations?
i also have reflexology, i love it! xx

Hi, It is quite painful but not too bad. I have been sigend off for a week and reckon I will be absolutely fine to go back to work then. Tummy is a bit bruised so tender but not too awful. I had it done because all of our other tests were normal, so they wanted to see if there was a problem with my tubes. From here we wait for an appointment to discuss IUI - roll on!
Where are you at?
xxx

great news that its a good result. just found out i have cysts consistent with pco. have previously had bloods but only mid cycle ones, going to the doc on friday to ask for cd3 and cd21 bloods and referral to the gynae/fs! xx

i was due to ovulate 5 days after my lap & dye....i know it sounds barmy & my dh really thought i was mad but i bought some needless syringes & sterilised some pots & inserted my dh sperm that way a few days after my lap & dye as didnt want my stitches being rubbed lol!! we did dtd properly on the day of ovulation...i am now 6 weeks pregnant, i dont know which one of the times was successful but the syringe option is an idea if u are too sore....i didnt wanna miss the ovulation that mth as knew my tube had been flushed & was clear so i thought 5 days after is great time to conceive if its gonna happen!! good luck xx
