lap & Dye date

Hey Girls...

Just got the date for my lap and dye! 26th Jan.......I am soooo anxious and nervous!!!!
Never had a general before, and never been in hosp for anything really.

This next month or so is going to be a nightmare! Anyone else due thiers around that time????

congratulations on getting the lap and dye date through, you are now one step closer!!!
Don't worry about the GA, this was something i was dreading when i thought i might need one, but you will be fine. Some peeps actually enjoy the feeling that the drugs give them,....my partner being one of them, he loves being put out!!-strange man.
Anyway, keep us all updated.

Can't really offer anything but just wanted to say good news on getting date, we are off to gynae together on 19th Jan and think that lap & dye will be next step for us. xx

Hi - yeah I just got my appointment through today - got Lap and dye booked for 13th January.

I had a lap done just over 5 years ago now but still feeling nervous about this one. I think I'm more nervous about what they might find rather than the procedure.

God news, I know what you mean about feeling anxious etc. I had mine done last friday and I was a little bit nervous, but actually more excited to be getting what I had wanted for a while. It was absolutely fine, was a little sick from anaesthetic but am healing well, had sticthes out yesterday and all is good!

Good news on the date! I had mine done Thursday 18th and I'm feeling pretty fine, was shakey and a bit sick after due to the anaesthetic and one of my cuts is a bit sore and I'm generally a bit achy but nothing thats not copeable with!!! I had good news in the fact everything is working well so I hope you do too! Good luck

So glad you've got a date for it...I had one back in 2005 and was so nervous but it was fine, and I felt ok afterwards too apart from strange pains from trapped air bubbles in my shoulders! Don't worry about the general - I've had loads and other than talking complete nonsense when I came round I've always been fine
