Large yolk sac at 8 weeks - concerned

I'm pleased you've had a more positive scan :) it's so so easy to get a measurement wrong as a fraction of a mm out can and does change things.

My last scan, the sonographer struggled to decide what the CTR length of baby was, it was such a small margin but it put me a whole week behind on my gestation. She's sure I will gain that back next Friday on my 12 week when their easier to measure, but I was surprised what a small miscalculation could do!

I hope all comes back clear for the chromosomal tests :) I have my fingers crossed!

I'm so happy that you have had a far more positive scan 😀 x

That's fantastic news!! I am happy for you! My NT scan on my boys came back large and I was sent to the specialist but when they measured it everything was in range. The equipment and skill of the tech can make a huge difference. I wish you a smooth pregnancy!

Awwww, lovely update Sweetkat. I'm so happy to see the measurements and all are in ranges you are feeling better about. When will you know the chromosome results?

Dairy - I will do Panorama. They can take the blood at 9 weeks and then it's sent to the US for testing. Takes 9-12 days to come back. I am 8&1 so can give blood in a Week and results in roughly 18 days....

Actually I don't know if it's days or working days.... anyway, about 3 weeks until I know.
