Hi all!

I need some advice. It's a friends birthday at the weekend and we're supposed to be going to laser quest. Is it safe? I can't say anything to my friends because they don't know I'm pregnant yet.

I had a quick look on the websites for laser tag, same as laser quest and it says....

Is laser tag safe?

Laser tag is an indoor physical activity. While it is supervised at all times, and we make every effort to ensure strict adherence to all of our rules, and prohibit running, we cannot assume any responsibility for any injuries that may occur. Our lasers are Class I laser products, and have not been directly linked with adverse health affects. We also employ the use of commercial fog, which is composed of food-grade mineral oil. If you are asthmatic, epileptic, have a heart condition, are currently pregnant, or if you suffer from any other health condition, you are personally responsible for deciding whether or not playing a moderately physical activity will be detrimental to your condition. We cannot under any circumstance give medical advice as to whether or not laser tag will pose a risk given your individual health record.

My biggest concern would be being pushed around or falling over!!!

Have fun if you do go!!

ive been while preggers and all my kids are fine, just set up as a team with somebody so you can limit your running and have fun

I personally wouldn't do it, but that's because i'm a complete worry wort and i'd be stressing about getting whacked in the tummy or falling over. Could you feign some sort of injury to get you out of it? Develop a limp or something because you've strained your ankle :winkwink:

I'd do it (if I wasn't dog sick!) babba is still teeny and well-protected in there xx

Thanks girls for your advice. I'll have a think about it and might phone the place.

your UN and avatar pic make me want mini eggs....

I'd go if I had the chance - laser tag is fun!!!

Haha!! I love minieggs!! So glad Easters coming as there's loads of bags in the shop!!! I phoned the place today and they said it should be fine as long as I play with my friends and not a group of random people.
