Late or Early labors with second, third, and so on...children

With my first pregnancy, my DD was 12 days late and I had to be induced. Im 30 weeks tomorrow and wondering if my DS will have to be evicted from my womb as well or if its possible I could go early or at least around my EDD. Anyone out there have a late first child and an early second or third?? Im really hoping this isnt another 42 weeker in the middle of August.. Someone please tell me theres hope I dont have to go above and beyond the due date again!!

I went 41+5 with DS1. (not induced) He was due August 23rd...didn't arrive until Sept. 4th...it wasn't fun but TBH it really wasnt that bad.
and 38+3 with DS2. (not induced) needless to say i was pretty surprised to not have made it to nearly 42 weeks that time!

It's unbelievably variable from woman to woman. I'm in the same boat as you. My first I had to be induced at 41 weeks and it was a hellish labor, needless to say I am really hoping this little girl comes a smidge sooner than her brother! I've looked and looked and looked for any credible study and so far the only thing I've found was that statistically speaking second babies are usually 6 hours earlier than older siblings.

My 1st, I was induced at 40 + 4, had her on 41.

My 2nd I was due on August 13, my water broke on August 3rd, and had her August 5th.

Bang on my due date with my second.
6 days late with my third.

No pattern except my lates were girls xD fashionably late

My first was due Dec 31st had him Dec 22nd. My second was due march 17 had her on feb 26th

First DS went into Labor night before EDD and he was born day after EDD so 40+1 I guess.
Second DS was induced at 38 weeks due to him causing me serious pain and I could hardly walk.
Will probably be induced about 5 days early with this one.. personal reasons
