Late ovulation, CD 29 BFNs

Hello all and Happy St. Patty's Day!

Today I am on CD 29 and on a normal cycle (which I have every month) AF would be due tomorrow.

I usually ovulate around CD12-14 but this month, I did not O until CD17. FF has AF showing up 5 days later than normal since I O'd so late. Do you think it's too early to test and get a positive if this is the case? I have been cramping and haven't had to many signs besides bloating and sore nipples. Last month I had a ton of symptoms and AF ended up showing her face but she was on time.

So, my question is... do you think my late ovulation could mean I am still in the game even though I got a BFN this morning? I am 12DPO according to FF.

I'd say too early for a BFP so u are still in with a chance, good luck!

Thank you! I have had a lot of cramping today and weird pinching in my lower tummy so hoping that means something good.

I am in kind of a similar situation so I might be of help. I ov on cd 17 or 18 as well. I tested 9/10dpo bfn then again on 11/12 dpo bfn. I have had cramps since 7/8dpo mild but just like af and I could swear at any min she was coming ( even put a tampon in) and sore boobs around 11/12 dpo and that's it. But that's all normal af for me so no surprise. But now I sit here 15/16 dpo and no af. I am too scared to test and will wait for af to be a week late since I got semi early bfn. But my point being that we have almost identical cycles and symptoms and I'm late. So your not out its still really early! I'd wait to test again till af is officially late. Afm, I'll keep you updated if your interested. I hope this helps!!

Awesome! Thanks for that little bit of hope. =) And please do keep me updated. Today I didn't test but I had AF cramping really bad last night while sleeping and could swear my temps were going to drop and AF would show today. Come to find out, temp was just as high as yesterday, 98.1, which is the highest it's been my whole cycle thus far. I'm really hoping that's a good sign!! AF is due today but definitely no sign besides cramping of her.

Your temps and symptoms sound really promising! Hopefully you just have a shy bean! Have you been pregnant before? Cramping is a good sign of pregnancy but as you know also the witch lol. I too have been having those cramps lying in bed where I swear I'm going to get up and af will be there and still NOTHING! Lol I still have not tested since 12dpo I'm too scared too lol it's just crazy tho because when ttc my son every month I swore I was pregnant and nope just pms and then I stopped " trying" and then a couple month later , the month I got pregnant I had no idea! Same thing as now. Sore boobs and cramps with a later period but I figured I had been late the month before by a whole week! And clearly was not pregnant but again swore I was. Anyways so the next month( pregnant) when I had cramps and sore boobs around missed af I was like no fing way pregnant and it's just pms af is on her way- especially with the cramps I was having. But one week passed and nothing with continued sore boobs and cramps and then by 2 weeks late I was dead tired one day and by bf was like um I think your pregnant and I was like no way I'm just late like last month. But woke up took a test and sure enough I was actually 6 weeks pregnant and honestly had no idea! Weird how life works. Anyways that's why I have a lot of hope right now but cause I just came off bc in January I'm trying to tell myself im just having a weird cycle. So hopefully your just like me with my first and hopefully this is it for me again too! Honestly my head tells me I'm not but my heart says I am because this is the way I was withy first.

I've been pregnant..have a 7 year old daughter.. but I remember we stopped using any type of bc and bam..I was instantly pregnant that month. My SO and I have been TTC for 2 months now and nothing so it's so disheartening when comparing my last pregnancy. I just took a FRER after holding pee for 4 hours and got a BFN. I definitely think I'm out this month.

Wow! I bet it's hard conceiving so fast and now 2 mo is not very long but prob seems like an eternity for you lol I'm like opposite. I except #2 to take at least 6 mo to a year because I don't seem to get pregnant easily. I dk why. How many dpo are you? Your not out yet just keep your head up and at least if af shows you know you ov later this cycle and next cycle you can try to gage ov better. That's what I tell myself at least lol. But you temp right?! So you should be pretty accurate on ov. I don't temp or opk so really my af could be right on time lol. I broke down as well and bought some frer but I'm so scared to test lol at least at this point for me I it was negative I would know for sure I'm out. But lady af is due today for you I have read so many thread were wen got a bfn day af was due and then the next day bfp!

I am 13dpo today. I hope that is true! I do chart so I know when I O'd and unfortunately, I didn't get to BD all that much since it caught me off guard by being so late. I also was really sick with a fever for about 4 days so I figured maybe that's why I O'd so late this month. FF has AF showing 5 days from now which I find weird and I don't know if I should go by that or not. The cramping has been pretty consistent today and when I go to the bathroom, I do have a little bit of clear/white creamy CM but not a whole lot of it. FX. I just wish she'd show up if she's going to..lol.

Well, I dropped .3 degrees this morning even though I did take my temperature about an hour and 20 minutes earlier than usual so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. But I'm going to guess from the cramping last night and the drop in temp, AF will be showing up today or tomorrow. Back to trying again. =(

Well, another update. I found out that your temps are usually lower the earlier you check them so if that's true then my temps didn't change at all and are about the same as the past couple days. Also, I just went to the bathroom and had a creamy but watery, whitish CM. Maybe I'm not out yet.

Well, just an update. AF showed up today after being a week late. After putting in my information from FF into another app, Kindara, it shows that I ovulated MUCH later than FF had thought. Hopefully, this month will be my month.

I just read all these posts and wanted to say sorry I had almost the exact same thing happen to me . AF showed up today along with very painful cramps !
Hopefully April will be our month -Christmas babies my youngest is a Christmas baby and it was the best early present
