Hey! I recently found out that laughing gas (G&A or nitrous) is not offered in delivery rooms in the US!!! I'm from Europe and that would be my first choice of pain relief - and I'm feeling very anxious about this:wacko:
Obviously I'm a bit ahead of myself but I'm already coming up with emails and conversations in my head where I convince some hospital executive to bring me some damn laughing gas haha...

Apparently, when the epidural became better and better - laughing gas just wasn't cool enough anymore, and now it's only offered in 5 hospitals in the whole country! Seriously I just can't believe it and I'm rambling... sorry.

So if I ever get this precious :bfp: I'm about to go on a mission at the hospital I will deliver at - or else I'll freakin drive the 8 hours to get to the nearest one that does offer it :winkwink: (uh, sure, that's gonna happen when the time comes!)

Anyways. I'm stunned and I can't believe the US refuses to use this inexpensive and beneficial way to relieve pain for birthing women.

/rant over lol

Hugs to anyone who got through this :hugs2:
