Hi, was wondering if you could help us out too. We don't know what we're having as keeping it a surprise. Surname is McCann so far our choices for a girl are mirren, olivia or lily for a boy we like shay, Blair, cameron but not 100% sure xxx

For Amygdala, Beccaboo, Jai Jai, Jem02, and Mummysuzie22:

I'd love to help with naming your children. Unfortunately, you haven't given me enough information to work with. Could you please answer the following questions and send them via PM or post here. Thanks!

1. What names can you not use because of bad associations or their use with your family and friends?
2. Would you like a specific origin or meaning?
3. Do you prefer the original spellings of names or new ones? (i.e. Courtney vs Kourtni)
4. Do you want a name that can have a nickname?
5. Would you like unisex names or names that are frequently used on the other gender? (i.e. Paris is a boys name that's used on girls)

Wow, you're thorough! So here goes:

1. What names can you not use because of bad associations or their use with your family and friends? Can't use but LOVE: Margaret, Alina, Luisa, Johanna
2. Would you like a specific origin or meaning? No specific origin but I do like "classic" names, old English ones, Hebrew, Greek or Latin...
3. Do you prefer the original spellings of names or new ones? (i.e. Courtney vs Kourtni) I like original spellings and "old" spellings (such as Maud for Maude).
4. Do you want a name that can have a nickname? Yes! I love "proper" names that can be shortened to something cute.
5. Would you like unisex names or names that are frequently used on the other gender? (i.e. Paris is a boys name that's used on girls) No, I prefer gender-specific names.

Can't wait to see what you come up with! :happydance:
