Hi Im New To This but just need some advise...

Ive Been Leaking Fluid All Morning but not sure if its just discharge (sorry TMI)
Im 34 Weeks

Just Wondered If Anyone Could Help Me Please :flower:

Thanks Girls

hey & welcome!
the best thing to do is give your MW a call & see what she suggests, she might get you in to just check that it's not your waters leaking.
what does it look like? (sorry definitely TMI :haha:) it's normal to get increased discharge so i'm sure it's nothing but your MW will be able to help :) xx

I would advise you to go get checked

When I felt as if I were leaking fluid I went and got checked got an ultrasound and found that my levels were low 5 was my AFI they had to infuse me with saline to build it back up so they think it was only a tear.

Ring your midwife Hun and get checked out this happened to me last week at 33 weeks and it was my waters which had broken but they were only trickling it wasn't like a gush xx

I also think you should ring your midwife, its better to be safe than sorry, hopefully its nothing to worry about :)

Thank You Girls

Rang MIdwife and She said She just Thinks its discharge (sorry TMI) but to keep an eye on it and go to hospital if it gets worse... i not had a gush its only been trickles but enough to make me uncomfortable at work :| x

everything made me uncomfortable at work :haha: glad your MW doesn't think it's anything serious though :) have you got long until you go on to maternity leave? x

3 weeks yet:| might have to go early though because i really dont wanna be there atm x

I had the same thing, thought I was leaking fluid, had to go to labor ward to be checked but was just discharge & a urine infection.

When do you next see your MW hun?
I agree with her, keep an eye on it, but if it gets worse (changes colour, smell etc) then get checked :flower:

x

A Week On Monday... Think I Just Needed To Put My Mind At Rest :)

xx

I had the same thing (tons of watery discharge) and got checked by my doctor who confirmed it was not amniotic fluid. I think its important that you go in just to make sure your membranes haven't ruptured because you are way too early hun. I'm sure it's fine but my doctor did say that sometimes a womans water breaks but its only a small leaking..
