Does it ever slow down/stop??!

Last night whilst I was sleeping I soaked through a double layer of breast pads, my bra my t shirt and the bedsheets in less than 2 hours! Woke up in a disgusting mess!

I tried to feed her with my bra off the other day because I wanted to give them some air... completely soaked her and myself. Nightmare

I feel like im going to get trench boob!!!!!!!!!

Mine don't leak anymore unless I skip a feed. They leaked loads for the first two weeks though!

Well Sam's on one boobie per feed so my spare one must be doing all the gushing. But over 8 weeks on and I reckon we would be better off sleeping in the bath with him in a wetsuit..lol.

I've lost count of the times we've woken up to him being soaked almost head to toe thinking his nappy burst only to realise it's milk!.

Oh gosh that is horrible. I never had any problems with leaking. I have to say my boobs are very well behaved. haha

First couple of weeks it can be a nightmare with leaking boobs. My baby is 7 weeks old now and it has settled down so it does get better once you get into a routine and your boobs know when to produce.

mine only settled down a month or so ago! I used to regularly wake up soaked, it was awful.

You can get these breast shell thingys for when you're in the house and feeding. You put one on the opposite breast to the one bubs is feeding from and it collects any leaks which you can then freeze for later use. I've never used them though so not sure if they're as useful as they sound. I tend to hold the opposite breast firmly with my hand (over the top of my clothes and breastpad) and this stems the flow


Have you tried the Tommee Tippee breastpads???? I absolutely swear by them, I have breastfed 4 children and tried most of the breastpads on the market and these are by far the best ones. They're larger than most but incredibly thin and absorbant and they have a pinky coloured backing so you can't see them though a light coloured top IYKWIM? (the white breastpads are mega visible under light coloured tops). They have a sticky bit to keep the pads in place which is much better than some of the others as it really keeps the pad in place....they don't scrunch up in a ball when you feed either. Also individually wrapped so ideal when you need to chuck a few extras in your changing bag as a "just in case" measure

I actually found that sleeping on a towel and sticking muslins down my top worked best.

Ive started wearing makeshift boobie bibs when shes feeding because I have such a fast flow she stops and starts and spits some out. So I just wear a muslin tucked into my bra
