Leg pain

I've been having pain in my right leg for a few weeks now. It isn't constant but it comes and goes and can be particularly painful in the middle of the night when I turn over in bed. It feels like a sharp muscular pain, right at the top of my thigh, just under my butt! I'm not really too concerned about it as it isn't 24/7 or agony but I just wanted to see if anyone else has suffered from this and if there was anything they did to relieve it? It can be common right?

I've been having something similar and I think mine might be sciatica. It feels like someone punched me repeatedly in the butt cheek and goes down into my thigh all the way to my knee. It has stopped today so I think maybe the baby has shifted a bit?

It does sound a bit like sciatic pain. I had some in early pregnancy but I think it's quite common later in pregnancy as well when the baby presses on the nerve.
Might be worth asking for a physio referral.
