Length of Cycles

Hi Ladies,

Was just wondering what was the length of your cycles the 1st few months off BCP?

So far mine have been 28, 24, 26 and 32 days. Still waiting for them to sort themselves out - though of course I'm not at all adverse to getting pregnant before then!! - so I'm not all that worried about them : )

I've been off Alesse since November 2009. So far my cycles have been: 26, 28, 29, 34, 35, 33, 30, 27, 37

That last one was disappointing...37 days. Not super long, but it was strange when the cycle before was 27 days.

I had the implant for 3 years which is equivalent to the mini pill, went straight back into 26/27 day cycles after it got taken out (March).

Mine have been 28, 29 & 27. The 29 day month was incredibly stressful and awful so I'm surprised it was only delayed by a day. Then this month it arrived back where it 'should' have been if I was still on the pill - odd!

The thing I'm concerned about though is that my periods have been very light since coming off the pill. Has anyone else had this? I worry it may mean I'm not ovulating or that my uterine lining isn't thick enough.

*Edited to add that I was on microgynon continuously for over 12 years.

HeymBirdiemBoo, mines have felt ever so slightly lighter. TMI - had 3 days of proper flow and then 2-3 days that they were lighter/spotting.

Hi, I came off the pill(Yasmin) in july. First cycle was 30days then next was 28. I'm on cd5 now in my third cycle. I used to be 28 days before BC so I'm hoping it stays at 28 now! I too have been quite light but this month was slightly heavier than the first with cramps which I never used to get on the pill!
