Lets have our BFPs by Christmas Thread!

Hi all mind if I join? I'm 34 and DH 35, we've been married just over a year and TTC No. 1. Came off pill at end of July so only a couple of months down.

But this month is out - DH is out of the country with work and I'll be O-ing while we're apart. But on the bright side, I'll be going out to meet him next week so I get a holiday out of it!! Then we can try again properly when we get back, and I can enjoy a few bottles of wine on holiday without a guilty conscience

Bought my first set of OPK's today - I was trying to take a laid-back approach but I thought it wasn't a bad idea to get a better idea of what my cycle's like anyway.

What about the rest of you - are you testing etc or "letting nature take it's course"?

I used OPKs for the first time this month since my the cycle I had my mc... I was trying it natural for a while, but I figured... it worked last time, why wouldn't it this time? lol

Hey dare to dream, was speaking to u last month, in Berniep's post.

Me and husband are both 26, bn trying for 3 cycles. I had one of my ovaries and tube removed sep 2005 due to ovarian cysts.

Im due 19th if 28 day cycle (kind of buggered as last month 32) so testing 20th if she doesnt show. I had a positive opk yest and today, so starting my tww now I guess. Poor DH is tired out, am so determined this is our month!! Also taking preconception vitamins. How have u bn?

HEY mto!!!! glad to have you aboard! Of course i remember you love, was wondering how you've been! We're about the same this month- third cycle, and we'll be testing on the 19th i think. Unless i do it earlier. Been very good. Very hopeful, but scared to be TOO hopeful!

Can you add me for sept 8 on testing period due 9 of sept so I picked up 4 days before your missed period tester. Figured at least I'll know and won't be on pins and needles either way I'm 25 and oh is 24 we are trying for baby number two

Hi, We've been trying since then too, I'm 21 and my OH is 24, this will be our first too.

I'll be testing around the same time, maybe a lil bit earlier.

I would love to announce it at Christmas xxx

we have been ttc since aug 2009 had mc in jan and now diagnosed with pcos!
Would love a bfp for my bday that would be the best prezzie ever !

Can I join please? I love Christmas, my favourite time of the year, and would love this Christmas so much more if I was pregnant

I'm 36, OH is 41 and we are ttc our first. Been trying since March this year. Used CBFM for first time last month and just hit peak on it yesterday for this month, so expect AF around 20th September.

i love christmas its all about family i think i would love to by oarents cards that say grandma and grandad on them with a scan pic but i feeling bit down at min as have no job etc , just gotta keep plodding on

I have no job either mtemptress, was made redundant end June but haven't put ttc on hold due to my age, don't think I can afford to wait. So looking for a job and having interviews at same time as ttc!

Haha, I agree there! BD is fun, but I can't manage it all the time lol. 3 times a week is mroe than enough, otherwise we end up running out of ideas to make it fun lol. Last time we had my camera out trying ot make it more fun XD Which it was to br fair I'm glad nobody is ever seeing those pics though :/ haha

Can I join you? I'm currently on my second cycle since having my implant removed at the end of June. I'm on CD 8 and trying Sperm Meets Egg Plan this cycle. I've got the PMA Bug this month so I'm hoping it helps me to get that BFP before Christmas. I get my Birthday in December so that would be the best pressie ever!!

I was thinking about that for if I get my bfp this month haha!!! I figure that my 12 week scan shoudl be due around that time and I can get extra copies for my mum and dad, OH's parents and my nan and grandad... get nanny and grandad cards for the parents and ... hmmm... any idea if there are great-grandparent cards? :/ haha
