LH and FSH levels please help me

I've had 2 m/c's since last may- don't have any children.

Had a day 3 blood test after my 2nd m/c and my lh was 5.7 and fsh 9.7. My doctor said the fsh seems elevated compared to lh but what does this mean??? I've been referred to fertility clinic but appt isn't for another 2 weeks.

Any help would be great-should I be really worried?

My doctor said not to worry too much as the fsh level wasn't too high and she also said it could be a blip as it was my first period since d and c. But I am freaking out a bit!! I've concieved twice in 10 months surely something has to be working right?

FSH is follicle stimulating hormone this is what makes your follicles develop and mature an egg for release in your ovaries.

LH is the hormone that causes your follicles to release the mature egg.

I've never had my levels checked and don't know what is normal but hope this helps I'm sure the specialist will be able to explain it all for you x

I had level of 7 two years ago and my specialist that anything under 10 was okay..
