light bleed around time AF due

My period was 4 days late and two tests both came back negative. I thought AF had eventually turned up yesterday. I usually have quite heavy periods however this time it is so light. Has anyone had experience of this? I'm breastfeeding my 16 month old but my periods returned 7 months ago and have been almost regular. They're not normally this unusual.

I don't think that's really all that unusually when you're breastfeeding, even after AF has been regular. For whatever reason, maybe you just didn't build up as much lining this past cycle. Did you change anything in your diet or supplements? Were you sick this past month?
