As Lilly-Mae Is a Long Name And Is More The "naughty" Name Now and Lilly & Lil Reminds Mother in Law Of A Relative And Doesnt Like it So Were Trying To Think Of A Lil Nick Name??? Wah u Think??? Any Ideas???

I'm hoping to name my daughter Lily-Rose once she's conceived I'm American but my husband is Taiwanese and we live in Taiwan so she'll need a English and Mandarin Chinese name. Her mandarin name will be 莉莉 (liˋliˋ pronounced like leelee) it's the Mandarin for the name Lily. I'm thinking that would also make a great nickname for her English speaking relatives.

I think there are some good ideas already suggested: Lola, Mae, Mae-Mae, Lee-Lee... the only one i can come up with is "Elle" pronounced like "L" since Lilly starts with an "L"
