List of meds that are safe during pregnancy!!

In the United Kingdom your not supposed to take anything medicine-wise before consulting your doctor. Your not even allowed to take Strepsils for your throat before asking your doctor :haha: x

Rennies are fine too, most products will tell you as well if they are safe for use during pregnancy but best to always ask your doctor/midwife first :flower:

Yeah i think you should always approve with a doctor first before reading online not saying your information is false . Right now i have a congested nose soar throat and slight cold . I've been drinking tea & honey it helps a little , but i wont be taking anything not even if my doctor recommends any type of drug reliever unless i come down with a fever other wise natural healing will do for me !

Some cough medicines are okay ONLY if you have a severe case of something.
My OB recommended I take Robitussen with my bad cough, and I was also on an antibiotic and an inhaler too. It's because I have pneumonia.
My LO is great, and I get to hear the heart beat all the time. And here, Tylenol is HIGHLY recommended for pregnant women who get headaches, back pain, cramps, anything like that. I only take Tylenol when my temperature passes 100, or if I have a terrible headache that food and water doesn't help.
I really like this list a lot, and it's very helpful to most moms-to-be apparently. :flow:

No need to emphasise it and be rude, but we were told different.

I wasn't at all being rude.... Some moms found it to not be helpful, I emphasised it because it is helpful to most moms.
All doctors are different, and everyone goes by what their doctor says.
Was simply trying to state that most doctors say most of these things are okay.

Ok, well my doctor and midwife told me to consult them, and its best to not take any.

I agree, I don't take anything unless I talk to my OB. He told me whenever I need Tylenol I can take it. And for now I'm okay'd for Robitussen, an antibiotic, and an inhaler. I still have symptons of pneumonia.
Sorry that I came off as rude, I didn't intentionally mean to do that.

Thats alright :flow:
Obviously if you have pneumonia you need to take something!
I feel bad taking medicine, ive taken one paracetamol my whole pregnancy haha
