LO fell asleep before taking last feed.

What do you do when your LO falls asleep before their last feed??

She hadn't any real naps today as she was resisting sleep and she was knackered so when it came to her 7:30 bottle she fell asleep after 2 gulps! I tried everything I could to wake her to get it into her but she was out for the count. She's done this before and I know she'll wake up hungry around midnight rather than the usual 3pm. She'll then want another feed about 4:30 (well that's what happened last time she missed her last feed.

I can't dream feed her as it never works so what do you do when this happens or is it just tough luck?

Harry does this quite a lot. He usually has half his bottle at bedtime which is 7pm... and then starts grunting at 7.30pm/8.00pm for the rest. So I just go in, get him out of his cot, give him the rest and put him back. There are also times when he doesn't grunt/wake up for the rest, and waits until midnight. I've tried dream feeding him too - going in, getting him out of his cot whilst asleep and feeding him, but he just lies there whilst i'm trying to put the bottle in his mouth!! I think it's just tough luck - she'll wake up if she's hungry.
