LO still asleep since 12:30-only had 8 oz today, would you leave?

Lucas is still asleep after finally getting him down at 12:30. he did only manage half hour this morning and last night was very restless from 3am onwards, crying a lot on and off. Would you leave your LO to it if this was happening? He has only taken 8 oz of milk so far today!

Ive always gone with leave a sleeping baby lie, he will wake when hes hungry

I think so, he'll top up later, maybe try to cluster feed him before you go to bed?? Lucy sometimes sleeps for 2.5 hours after having 2 hours in the morning, so if he hasn't slept much this morning then I wouldn't worry!!!

Leaving him at mo, was sure he'd wake sometime now though as last fed at 11. I hope it doesnt make him wide awake tonight! :*

With me it depends, I tend not to let him sleep over abut 2 and a half hours in one nap in the day. But if he is ill or been very restless and got overtired i let him sleep as long as he wants.

Thanks for the replies. He woke at 3:45 so had just over 3 hours which I allowed for as he did have a rough night and only got half hour this morning. He took 4 oz (phew) and fell back to sleep at 17:30, gonna let him have an hour and then start his bath and bed routine and hope he takes some more feed! I keep hoping for some kind of routine to form with feed times and nap times etc, just about get there and then something like growth spurts or jabs come along and it all goes out the window again! lol
