Lochia or period who knows??

right so this bloody lochia thing was supposed to start tailing off which it did for a few days went kinda hrmmm brown goo but then all of a sudden its back and bright red just like a heavy period any ideas theres no cramps or anything just wasnt sure if it was normal or not so gross just wish it would go away

That's pretty normal hon. I think the shortest bleeding I remember anyone having is about 3-4 weeks. Some ladies went as long as 6 or even one or two as long as 8. It will continue to go from the orange/brown slimey lochia to red blood and back again. I know its gross but it won't last forever...

mines been on and off a bit too, cant wait for it to end. hate wearing pads!

Same here hun, I really thought I was one of the lucky ones as two days ago it went browny n more less packed its bags n buggered off ..... BUT today its back in full flow n bright red!!! oh joy... I reckon its still the lochia as our first periods r ment to be crampy from what I have read on here !!! One good thing about being preggers ay??!! xxxxxxxx
