Long lonely summer ahead-any suggestions?

I'm a student and everyone says it is great that I am pregnant now. I am married +older than normal student age so it seems great that I have all this time on my hands etc (lectures are only 8 hours/week) but I get so lonely and so much time to panic! I have no girls to talk to about this whole weird thing of pregnancy. I am dreading the summer cos I normally work and I don't see anyone giving me a job + see weeks stretching out in front of me with no company apart from bump. I live in a tiny village+ have no car. Any ideas of how I can spend my boring time?
