Hi . I was looking for some advice . I have two older children and wanted children with a new partner, I am 32 , I had one mc in 2010 and then was unable to concieve until 23 months later which resulted the same and currently happening around the 5-6 week stage. I previously thought the first was a one off and just back luck but now I'm thinking that I may have a problem with implantation and maybe this is why I don't think I'm concieving . . Has anyone else had a similar story and had testing ?

hey hun, i dont have any success stories for you..but i have been going thru something similar i keep having MCs at or before 8weeks (ive had 6)seen 3heartbeats the rest were lost before that..now what your saying as youve had previous children have you been tested for MTHFR gene?? sometimes that can make people randomly MC doesn't matter if you've had success previously you could still MC...another thing have you been or are you going to a fertility spec?? have you had the sperm checked? being a new partner..etc?

hope maybe this helps a bit

I had a blood test to see if I was ovulating which was all fine, I went back to the doctor and he won't offer me any further testing unless partner has a sperm test which my partner seems to think is unnecessary as we have been able to concieve before so thinks it's not him . . Leaves me a bit unable to do anything. I thought now I'd had another mc they would look into that I know they say three but waiting another 2 years for it to happen again seems too late

id change doctors if they not willing to help either way...my partner was the same as he has a son and i have no children he was still asked to do a test (never has done it) but my doctor still gave me all the recommended treatments like heparin and asprin (they didnt help me thow) so going back to ask what went wrong this time..id find a doctor thats willing to just listen to you and help..or ask him to see what the best treatment would be suggest heparin and asprin etc

Hi Candy, Im sorry for your losses.
Personally I'd highly recommend the clearblue fertility monitor to help you conceive. It is so accurate in pinpointing ovulation and has worked for me every time Ive used it.
Then theres the issue of whats causing your miscarriages. In my case its my blood clotting too much. I luckily got referred for tests after my 2 miscarriages (normally they make you wait until you've had 3). Tests revelealed that I have elevated anticardiolipin antibodies which cause blood clotting. Im now on a low dose aspirin a day along with clexane injections daily.
Fo a lot of people a low dose aspirin is enough to thin the blood and Id recommend that you try that. Unfortunately for me I was taking a low dose aspirin for my second pregnancy which allowed me to get to 9 weeks with a heartbeat which eventually stopped. So the aspirin was working to an extent and as I say a lot of people have success with that alone.

Also I found that using agnus castus tablets really boosts ovulation. I bought them from Healthspan direct.

Im now the furthest Ive ever been in pregnancy, its so nerve racking always expecting something to go wrong. But so far so good, fingers crossed tightly.

Best of luck to you x
