I apologize if this isn't the right place. I wasn't really sure where else to ask. I'm also sorry this is so long.
In July 2015, I started seeing a new obgyn who finally took my fertility concerns seriously. I went through a bunch of blood tests and ultrasounds over the next six months, although nothing too in-depth. From then until now, I've been diagnosed with PCOS, endometriosis, and adenomyosis. It was also determined that I had borderline-low functioning thyroid and insulin resistance.
As of my most recent (April 2017) blood work, I no longer have an issue with my thyroid and there wasn't any obvious issue with insulin resistance (I lost 50lbs, which helped balance things, I think). However, an ultrasound showed that there were still cysts on my ovaries. And my cycles are nowhere near regular. They averaged out to about 35 day cycles, but some were longer. I do usually end up ovulating on my own, but way past the "normal" cd14.
In addition to all that, I have had multiple early miscarriages now. I had one Aug 2014, another in June 2015, another Sept 2015, one April 2017, and I'm going through another one now. All of these pregnancies ended before 5 weeks. I had one that didn't end before 5 weeks and that resulted in DS2 in 2016. My doctor's office only has records of the ones from September 2015 and the one I'm currently going through. I never got as far as going to the doctor before the pregnancies ended for the others.
Im beginning to think I might have a progesterone issue. And obviously an ovulation issue.
If that's the case, what tests do I ask my doctor for? What can I do to help? Is there anything that will help me get (and stay) pregnant? Would Clomid be something worth asking about?
I just feel so lost and so hopeless right now.
