Success Story

Hey I have PCOS and Insulin Resistant. I was on metformin ongoing to my 14th week or pregnancy. While TTC I did 2 cycles of femara, 3 combo cycles with femara and Gonal F, and my 1st full cycle of gonal f I overstimmed and it was also the first time I ever ovulated on my own...and ended up pregnant. I must say that after my cycle was cancel we did not have sex....but we had sex before it was cancelled to cover all basis so it was a surprise less than 3 weeks later when I was almost 6 weeks pregnant. And I am lucky to have only one baby inside of me.

I also don't have regular cycles and have to be induced by provera etc...

Its not one second that I am not grateful for being pregnant because I remember all the pain and heartache I had trying to get here. Keep your head up ladies!!!!

i got pregnant when i was 19 but lost at 4 weeks, i then found out iv pcos, iv been trying ever sins i was 21 and im now 24, iv done 6 trys of clomid and i tought itl never happen for me, i was so jellous of other parents and hated women that said oh but it wasnt planed, that made me so mad, i envyd them so much, i put trying to the back of my mined and focused on other things like work and doing up the house, and all of a slap bang i got a bfp, happy wasnt the word, altho im still nervous i just want to get to 12 weeks to feel like im in the safe zone, so id say dont think about it so much and relax, easy for me 2 say now i no but stressing wont help, ul get there, at least uv age on ur side hun

Hi thought i would tell my story quick, I have pcos found out June 2011 after ttc for 6 months with no period. After having the first few appointments at the docs having scans blood tests and o/h having 2 s/a we got reffered to the fertility specialist in January 2012, she put me on metformin 1500mg a day and put me on a waiting list for lap and dye, hystereoscopy and ovarian drilling which I had done on June 25th this year. Then on my 3rd cycle after that I got my bfp! Best of luck xxx
