    Sorry if tmi.
Came home from work and went for a piddle, when I wiped there was faint pink, put a pad on and had a little bit more plus a tiny bit of rather dark greeny looking stuff that could be not far off brown-very strange. Anyways I do have a few cramps so think this is af on her way, at least she came today and not tomorrow which was going to be test day so has saved me wasting one. Only annoying thing is that af normally comes on full force straight away and I dont get prior warning like this. Not had anything since been to loo the first time so have no idea what she is playing at, plus it is about 4/5/6 days early which is very strange, making my previously 37ish day cycle now down to 31 days.
    Anyone else have this happen?

Do you know for sure when you ov'd? Could be ib or pre af spotting. I'm in the same boat right now with pink, brown and red spotting about 5 days before and we unfortunately have to play the rather annoying wait and see game, but you aren't out until it comes in full force, and that btw is cd1 not the spotting now. Good luck and Fx for you! Lots of baby dust heading your way!

thanks jamhs, im not actually sure when i ov'd, i have just used averages from my cycle pattern. i dont use opk's as i tried it last year and never got very far with them, but have just started charting my temps now i have found my thermometer. was 36.9c tues, 36.1c yesterday and 36.4c today which obviously will mean nothing with not having a full few months worth. i do think it is af due to the cramps i am having, but not had pre af spotting at all since i started having cycles, but with being 16months off the pill it could possibly still be that messing around as did have 6 months with no cycle last year when i first came off it.
if you have had the same thing then it does sound a bit more promising but i'm not going to count chickens until they have hatched as it were. baby dust to you too chick!x

I had ib with my 3rd preg a week before af and only a day. I have had pre af spotting for the last 5 months since my mc, but always brown which is why i'm so confused by this month. If you don't usually then it might be a good sign! Keep me posted and here is to us keeping sane while we wait to find out!

i gave in and tested anyway this morning as planned, bfn but ive had no more spotting or anything since last night. my temp was the same as yesterday too this morning so have no idea what going on. will just wait and see.
annoying you got a bfn but i suppose you arent out yet, as your ticker says, give it another few days.
looks like we arent going camping until sunday now so i just have two more mornings to contend with, but hubby is now back home from his camp for the week so he should be able to stop me.
fx for us both, will keep you updated if i have a signal out in the wilderness lol

Thanks jelly tots! My dh left very early this morning for work which is why I tested early. They are good for keeping from testing aren't they! I'm glad you aren't spotting any more. I'll keep you in my prayers.
On a different note; are you training for the London marathon? My dh is right now and he keeps trying to get me out too! All my in laws run and I so want to but not really motivated! Any help? :)

Thankyou hun, you are in mine too.

Yeah I'm training for London next year. I have applied for a ballot place so will see if I get a slot in October, obviously if anything happens in that time and i'm allocated I may have to defer my place for a year. I already have a ballot place in the Great North Run which I am still doing whether pregnant or not lol. It shouldn't affect it as it's something I do anyways.
I find the runnersworld site and forum very helpful, i already subscribe to the magazine as hubster has always run a lot. It's only something I have recently got into, well just before xmas, I did the Lincoln 10k in April as my challenge of the year, and then found out i had been lucky to get a gnr place. Although I am still shocked and worried about it, as just over 3 months to go and still have to add on 6 miles to my current distance, im sure i will be fine though. its surprising how quickly your fitness and speed etc builds up.
i go running about 3 times a week, but do occaisionally mix it up with my biggest loser game on the kinect, or go for a long hard bike ride instead.
With you being a beginner i would say follow one of the plans on the site for a 10k, set yourself a target or find a race local to you to aim for, and then once you have done that aim for half marathon etc.
first things first though, go and get your gait analysed and get some decent trainers, they wont be too expensive but you cant put a price on your feet. i find if you go to a local independant shop they are normally pretty good value and the one in lincoln lets you take them back if after you have tried them out on the treadmill and they dont feel too comfy they will exchange them for you.
once you get into it and start getting the km or miles under your feet you will really get going and get the bug to do more. well i have found that anyways.
its good for weight loss too. ive been doing sw for the last 16 months and have lost more weight since xmas than i had done last year on the diet alone, i did go to the gym etc but it shows how little gym work actually does for you sometimes. i have also lost 24inches since end of jan so all good there to :)

anyways if you want any advice or anything just message me. but if you have never run before a run-walk-run-walk program will be a good start so you dont injure yourself.x

I'm sorry af arrived! I'm still spotting off and on, not heavy enough to have needed a pad even and sometimes if I wasn't looking I wouldn't know I was. I just want to know either way. Hopefully we can update eachother when you get back. Have fun camping! And I really am impressed with you! :)

well i am back from my camping trip, had a fabulous time but it chucked it down with rain just as were packing the tent up this morning which was ever so much fun. always the way though and all part of the fun :)

    sorry to hear that babydust.

right, as you know i was spotting before i went, i had a day of nothing and then was spotting but a bit more than the first day of it. well each day i have had a bit of spotting, nothing heavy or that could really be classed as my period as its always an awful lot more and in a way to graphically describe it, i could have a used just the one tampon for the whole week and still some, and always has some bits in it that look like clotting which i havent had yet, sorry if tmi but only way i can think of describing it. sometimes its a pinky colour other times its a little more red, and a little bit brown. did a digi when got back and was negative.
i dont think i am pg as surely i cant have had spotting all of this time and still be, also with being a day or two late from what my actual cycle should be like it should surely show by now if i was.
anyways very confused about it, but just hoping it either comes in full force the next day or two or this was just an irregular very light one.

hope you have had a good week so far and things are looking a bit more promising for you now a few days have gone by
