Losing Mucus Plug?

This morning at work... I noticed a stretchy like substance which was on the yellowish and slightly greenish side. It was snot like I guess...but more yellowish...sorry TMI....is this the start of me losing my plug? I am still getting some of that same consistency discharge in my panites.

Could be, but doesn't really sound like it to me. But it sure might be the start of something looking at your due date!

I would call your doctor just to be safe... especially if you're still getting it... if its green I thought that means that baby pooped inside??? I could be wrong.. but I'd call anyway... Good Luck! and keep us posted please!!

Yeah I read anything which has a greenish tinge could be signs of an infection, so might be worth getting it checked

mine looked like a huge snot and it was green...but i never saw the whole thing, i was just losing parts.

From some of the reading I have done on other sites, it sounds like it is part of the plug. Not sure why it can be green.

I would check with your doc if it is green too. My doc told me any greenish discharge to let her know because it could be a bacterial infection or some other kind of infection.

hopefully its the start of something for you though!

okay it wasn't really green....it was more of a lightish yellowish color..my eyes were probably playing tricks on me.

Sounds like it could be an infection?

My mucus plug came away as transparent discharge, which started to get thin streaks of blood in it. When the plug came out it looked like a blood clot.

okay it wasn't really green....it was more of a lightish yellowish color..my eyes were probably playing tricks on me.

Mine really was light-green, and when I had the show there were greenish clumps as well.
