anyone else got weight to love before ttc? if so how are you doing it?
I'm 5ft 11 and weigh 19 stone, would like to lose 3 stone before ttc in Feb, and a further 3 stone after that too! I plan on doing slimming world, have been doing it fir 2 weeks so far and lost 6lbs, so a way to go yet lol! xx
 
6 lbs in two weeks is awesome though! I have no discipline so all I'm trying to do is swap "white" carbs (ie rice and pasta) for whole grain and cut out the unnesseray bits like chocolate, crisps etc. Oh, and no added sugar in anything. I'm not sticking to it 100% but I've definitely improved from before.
 
I would like to lose another 10-20 pounds before I TTC. I just plan on eating less (I'm currently in a "I'm bored so I'm going to eat" phase) and changing the kinds of things I eat (cut out candy, fast food, etc). I also plan on upping my water intake and cutting out soda. :thumbup: In addition to that I'm going to be adding some exercise to my daily routine. Hopefully that'll help me finally reach my goal. :)
 
Me, iv lost 1 stone 9 on slimming world and want to loose another 3/4 stone before having another.
 
I've got to lose weight to ovulate I ovulated regularly at 13st I'm now 16st 10 I did ovulate at 15st too so guess a stone and a bit might help my cause but ideally I want to be 11st Uff
 
I've actually lost almost 19 lbs this year - now I'm back to my slim petite self :) I wanted to be healthier in general. But wedding was a big motivator, as well as wanting to start at a lower weight when we start TTC.
 
I'm losing weight before TTC #2, I've lost 79 lbs so far and I still need to lose another 60 before I'm at my goal. I'm doing WW as well as exercise. :)

Same here! I have lost about 96 pounds since giving birth to my DS in Nov 2009 and I want to lose another 25-30 before next June when we start TTC. I think I even remember you from some of the boards back then! :)

I started just watching what I was eating, then WW then I just started counting calories because DH was and it was easier for us to be on the same page. Been maintaining since June, so trying to get back on board and finish strong.

EDIT: Forgot to say...I am 5'9"
 
Yah, our kids aren't too far apart, we would have been on the same boards! :)

Great job maintaining and not gaining anymore back! I'm hoping it won't take me any longer than June (at the latest) before I'm done but I've been in the same 10 lbs for 3 months now and it's frustrating the hell out of me!
 
Yeah, I had to maintain this summer to fit into a bridesmade dress...couldn't lose or gain for months! Don't get frustrated! If you need to vent or anything just message me and I can support you and vise versa! :thumbup:

I am just getting back into the game so to speak....

If you do start in June, then we may be TTC at the same time! :)
 
That would be fun! I figure it won't be a quick thing for me once we do start trying. I'm already in a much healthier place than I was when we were TTC our daughter but she still took us 7 years. I'm hoping the next one will be quicker but due to past experience I'm skeptical.

I'm frustrated but definitely not going to give up! I'm determined this time to see it through to the end.. and by end I mean.. forever lol

I am hoping its quick for us as well. It was quick last time as well, which was shocking since I was already heavy at that time! :shrug:

I just can't gain my weight back, I can't! :growlmad: I have bad arthritis in my back from a Navy injury and being pregnant and heavy didn't help, and I had a hard time getting out of bed in the morning.

Also, keeping up with my son has been a great workout! :)

Weigh in tomorrow (every Sat at home) so we will see how I have been doing this week....yikes.
 
Yep, I have a stone to loose which I lost before we got married and then put back on.... :rofl:
 
Im 5 ft 7 and weigh 17 stone 4 pounds, i started dieting over 2 weeks ago and lost 6 pounds in my first week but this week has been a bad week and ive just stayed the same weight. i really must take it more seriously next week.
my ideal weight would be 10 stone 7 pounds so i have a lot to lose by december 2013 when we plan to start ttc.
 
Weight loss isn't the only thing standing in my way, but I decided to get fit this year and really just try to be healthier. I want to have a healthy pregnancy with a happy and healthy baby, so this is one step towards that. And this year, I have lost about 30 pounds.
I've cut out soda.
I've cut out fast food and unhealthy food when we eat out.
I've cut out dairy.
I exercise very frequently.
 
I need to loose weight before trying to conceive again. I am 189.6 and want to loose 57.3.
 
SO I gained 5.8 the past two weeks :shock: because we are in the process of moving...will be done this week, so I plan on hopping back on calorie counting or WW again next week. I have been SO stressed and I am in actual shock that it was only 5.8 pounds I gained......:dohh:

OH and I are still discussing getting pregnant next summer, but he still doesn't have a hire date up at the state prison yet, so we can't financially afford it just yet...Hopefully by summer he is in. Its been since February that we have been waiting for the job...almost a year! Hurry up and WAIT for theses kinds of jobs, just like me wanting a new baby! :haha:

The new house is only two bedrooms with a possiable attic master:shrug: if we have another, so I am ITCHING to see where the next 8 months or so go....

Yea I am now 170lb which I guess is 12stones about right? Well I need to lose about 20-30 lb... I'm currently Not trying no preventing but I might actually put off for about 2 months so get my weight down... Ive been back in the gym with a trainer trying to do cardio 3 times a week and 2 times a week muscle building... and im trying to eat 6 small meals a day between 1200 and 1400 calories... Hopefully by January my weight will be 145lb and ill be more than happy to start actively TTC
