Loss of Mucus Plug - In form of light discharge?

Okay... I have read just about every posting on the internet and on here about loss of mucus plugs and I'm still a little unsure if that is what I am going through.

For the past day and a half, my panty liner has been lightly covered in brown watery fluid. It's not thick or mucusy as many have described it. But I do notice the different colour. I also would say it is sweet smelling, not sour or fishy. Almost has the consistancy of watered down corn syrup.

Make sense? Anybody have any ideas?

hun it sounds like your waters to me??? they dont have to gush out and can leak? might be better to check it with ur midwife especially if its sweet smelling and has a brown tinge to it!

I lost my mucous plug and it was like slimy, gross, jelly like discharge....
