Anyone else have a flatter bum after having their baby?? I used to like my butt even though it was sort of on the round/bigger side but now I feel like my pants and everything fit differently and I can feel how flat it is now when I sit down! I can also feel my pants are so saggy/loose where they used to be tight on my behind. Weird thing to ask but I'm curious if anyone else has this happen!!

How did it happen? Did you lose a lot of weight?

Might have to do exercises to tone it up again. It could have just lost muscle maybe?

Its probably all the running around after your baby. I wish i had the same problem!!

I have the same problem!

My bum used to be a nice round shape, i weighed 8 stone. After the birth of my baby, i weighed 10 stone.. With lots of curves! Now im back to my pre pregnancy weight, but my bum is as flat as a pancake... AND i have a tummy!

So although i weigh the same as i did before i fell pregnant with my son, its like ive lost weight from my bottom... And put it all on my tummy! Grrrr...

Im doing lots of running and squats in an attempt to regain some butt muscles!!

I think overall though, its not a big problem, just a fab excuse to go out and buy some nice new figure flattering jeans!

Im sure you look great!!

I have some fat around my belly and a totally flat bum. It's weird as
I have always had a curvy bottom :). I am back to pre pregnancy weight. Think it may be to do with walking a lot?!

I lost mine too, it came back to a certain extent when lo was about a year old, then I fell pregnant again and now it's huge lol.

Omg this happen to me too!!! I thought I was the only one! Gone almost flat since I had a baby :/

I don't want to worry anyone but your bum going flat and losing the curve of your lower back and bum post-baby can in some cases be caused by weak pelvic floor muscles, distatis recti (abdominal muscles seperation) or pelvic organ prolapse. Your stomach muscles, pelvic floor muscles and spine are all interlinked so if one is weak or not quite aligned properly it can cause a knock on effect with the others. Working on your posture will work wonders just make sure you don't subconsciously tuck your bum in and under as this will make the problem worse xx
