I know i shouldnt be worried about it as im pregnant but i have got massive love handles since becoming pregnant. Im usually quite slim but all my weight seems to be gathering there and on my bum. Are there any exercises that i would be able to do to help get rid of them that are safe? :winkwink:

I got them too, i've always been petite and never had love handles.
Now i have am not with the babys dad, i have no one to love my love handles and hold them like handles!

To be honest, there prob isnt much point doing anything to get rid of them now, as they will prob get bigger, mine did :(

I was tiny before i was pregnant, but now im wobbly everywhere, just gonna rely on swimming and powerplates after baby is born to get into shape & tone back up again.

Also - when i was 29 weeks, i had "skin" round my hips which has since filled out into the bump more - you might be the same :) it has gotten firmer (but its still there dammit!!) xx

Yeah, i had more skin around then, they hve definatly chunked out though

Oh bless you hunny!!! :hugs:

i think its a good thing though - at 29w i had no extra skin on my belly & thats where all my stretchies are! whereas my hips has extra skin to grow into, and no stretchies!!

x

mine have grown! i'm quite curvy but always had love handles.. they are pretty big now though, despite the fact i've only gained 11lbs! just trying to grin and bear them and hope that they'll magically disappear after birth :smug: xx

I wouldnt bother hun...i seem to look huge when i'm pregnant (not so much bump just everywhere) but i lost it all in only a few weeks last time as so much was water.

You cant do anything now but once your ready for exercise the only way to get rid of them is from cardio. There is no specific exercise that will help also the cardio has to be vigorous not just a walk in the park.
