Hello All,

This is my first posting on this site and my first pregnancy that has made it this far. I'm about 5 1/2 months (22 weeks), we went to the doctors Tuesday (10/23) to have my first belly ultrasound and the sexing of the baby, I was VERY please to find out we are having a little girl:cloud9:and that she weighed 14oz. Every thing went pretty well.

The doctor said every thing looked good, other then something (vitamin wise) was a little low so next time she will put me on a iron supplement, It wasn't iron that I'm missing, something else but thats just what she said she was going to put me on to help. I wish I could remember what she said it was but I was so happy to hear we where having a little girl I was in lala land.

Although thats not the larger issue, the issue is that she said that the fluid around the baby was a little low. She said for me not to stress out about it just yet because it was at an adequate level she would just like more to there. With me having one miscarriage before I cant help but to worry. She told me to drink a lot of water and rest more and they will check it when I come back in a month. Has any one else had this issue, this early? and did water and resting help? on the video she gave me it (to me) appears the baby doesn't have much fluid at all.

Here are the links to my ultrasound video, it was cut into to halfs in order for it all to fit.

I did some research on it, and now I have really scared myself. I read that it could be caused by the baby having a Birth defects!

Now most of the research I did, pulled up stuff about the condition oligohydramnios, which I do not have as of now ( I'm sure I'm blowing it up) but it says "in the first half of pregnancy, the complications can be more serious and include: Compression of fetal organs resulting in birth defects and Increased chance of miscarriage or stillbirth. If oligohydramnios is detected in the second half of pregnancy, complications can include: Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR), Preterm birth and Labor complications such as cord compression, meconium stained fluid and cesarean delivery"

Heres the link if you Would like to check it out for yourself: https://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancycomplications/lowamnioticfluidoligohydramnios.htm

Has anyone had this issue before? and maybe tell me a little bit more about whats going on with my baby, I'm very sacred now even though my doc. said not to worry. I just need a little advise and help with the whole thing.
