Anyone else with this? Last checked mine was 100/68. Only reason I am worried is I think it may be causing my heart palp to come back. Had a bad one this morning.

Mine is always on the low side, pre-pg, too. 107/62ish all the time. My midwife even commented that it always stays the same, but didn't seem concerned about it being low.

If you are worried, I would contact your midwife / doctor about it. I'm not sure about it bothering a heart palp.

Mine has dropped a little lower than that. I've been told it's normal for pregnant ladies to have a slightly lower blood pressure than their average. As for the heart palpitations, those are also normal due to the increased blood flow. However, for some people, they can be more bothersome than others. I suffer from a heart condition and with 3rd trimester and the heat, they've definitely become a more significant issue so I am back on a beta-blocker to help manage them. So, if they bother you enough, don't be afraid to bring it up. :flower:

I have low blood pressure too, and this past weekend I had very annoying palpitations so now I wear ECG monitor just to be sure I don't have any serious heart problems.

Friday it was at 96/66 and the nurse said it's fine. I have low blood pressure to begin with, but pregnancy makes it even lower for most people, and then it goes up again as you're getting further along in your pregnancy.

Thank you. This made me feel a lot better. I'm off to the specialist this morning so I will mention it while I'm there.

I sure hope you don't. All the best to you!!!

I had low blood pressure last pregnancy, it is better than high pressure as far as I am aware! It can make you feel a little faint and nauseas so be careful standing up quickly and stuff, but the MWs were never concerned. I get heart palpitations now and again, didn't realise it was related.

I have fairly low bp generally but it was really bad in first and early second tri. I was fainting, dizzy, had palpitations. It's going up a little now though :)

Hi,

I have had 100/60 every time they have checked and am now nearly 36 weeks, my midwife said it is normal for me so I'm not concerned. If you are usually low think it's ok.
