Low lying sac at les than 6 weeks. Heavy bleeding and clots.

Right here goes, 6:45 this morning woke up with sharp cramping pains and heavy bleeding with 2 large clots. I immediately assumed the worst and phoned my oh to run me down to a&e. They gave me an ultrasound and by miracle there was a sac and heartbeat, tech said everything looks as it should be. We went to see the doctor in epu who said "can't explain the bleeding and clots" did an internal exam and could see some blood around the cervix but said cervix was in closed position and at this stage it's 50/50 as to carry or miscarry. Booked in for another u/s on 23/9 to see what's what. Fingers crossed. Anyone else in a similar situation I'm panicking like mad.
