Low progesterone!!!!

I've been on progesterone suppositories for 2 cycles now. I got my bfp last Tuesday. My HCG more than tripled from 32 to 122 last Wednesday/Friday. On Friday I had them test my progesterone level, since I am taking the suppositories. Well, it was only 3.9!!!!!! They had me start progesterone in oil shots that night & I have been doing them nightly. I went back this morning & had blood drawn. They will be calling in a few LONG hours to give me the results....

I'm very scarred b/c I've had 2 previous miscarriages, I've had a lot of cramping yesterday & today, & my progesterone was so low, it might be too late--even though I started the shots asap.

Anyone have a similar experience? How did things work out for you? I feel like the phone call won't be a good one & that this third pregnancy will be over....

I'm such an emotional wreck. Ugh!!!

I know there are other ladies on here getting progesterone treatment - afraid I can't offer advice but definately wish you the best of luck and hope that the phone call brings good news

I was actually just about to post that exact same question. They are telling me my lining is not thick enough to maintain a pregnancy. I started progesterone suppositories last Thursday. Just wondering how long it takes to "kick in" and if I am too late to make a difference in this pregnancy. Still waiting on my second round of hcg levels- they were supposed to call me tonight but didn't

Sorry they didn't call! I kept calling yesterday until they got back to me. Just a word of advice- have them check your progesterone level from the suppositories. I have been on them for 2 cycles, but my body wasn't absorbing them. You are probably fine, but just a precaution. Thank God I had them check mine & they found out my progesterone was only 3.9. I started the shots that night, but not sure what will happen. My hcg tripled in 48 hours, but then only went up 66% in 48 hours. I'm having another draw tomorrow to see if they are still going up. I'm so nervous!!

How are you feeling otherwise? Any cramping or feelings in your abdomen? I've had a lot of twinges/cramps until today. Not sure if this is good or bad.

I am still waiting on the progesterone levels, but I just found out my beta's more than doubled from Thursday!! I know it's no guarantee of anything, but I don't get good news very much so I am running with this!!!
I had some major cramping in the middle of the night. So much so I thought I would wake up to bleeding this morning, but NO!
Cramping/twinges/pulling are good signs!! Let's you know little bubba is in there!

Wonderful news for you!! Very exciting! I haven't had any cramping or anything today. Makes me just as nervous as when I did have them. Hope both of our beans stick!!

I'm either 4w2d or 5w2d. I ovulated a week later than normal (Day 21 instead of 14), so not exactly sure! How far are you?

I'm 4+6 and pretty sure of that date since I was temping and charting. I wish I could say I was 12+6 since I've never gotten that far!
