Low sugar recipes for cakes and flapjacks?

This is posted in a couple of places as it kind of relates to a few.

Hi, does anyone have any recipes for cakes and flapjacks that are low in sugar.

At the moment any cakes, flapjacks, biscuits etc that the kids eat are homemade as I assume they are healthier than shop brought ones.
Its just that I would like to cut out alot of the sugar that normal recipes use yet still want them to be yummy, so does anyone have any good recipes for any of the above?
