My baby is a 27 weeker and only 2 1/2 weeks old. She cant suck yet so I have to pump. I have the hospital grade medulla symphony, I have preemies so usually this is hard but I have a good supply, get plenty of milk then switch to on demand breastfeeding no problem. This time I am barely getting an ounce each time! I really want to breastfeed her like I did my others so would appreciate any advice and possible reasons for this after 5 kids!

Hoping this is the right place too!

My only thought is that the pump doesn't stimulate the breast the same way as lo, even with pumping all the time. With my DS my supply increased and I became engaged once he started to latch, initially with a nipple shield. I would try to do as much skin to skin as possible and maybe try to attempt latching before each feed/ pump to stimulate the breast. Is she being tube or bottle fed?
