I am 35 weeks in two days and for the last three hours I have had lower back ache, not intense, more uncomfortable, worse if I just sit down, better if I move about. I have also had a quite alot of braxton hicks this afternoon too. Yesterday a few crampy type period pains.

Any advice would be appreciated as I never experienced this with my DS as he was a csection at 36 weeks.

I've had it for weeks so it could be nothing yet it could be your body getting geared up. Mine has got to the point I can only get rid of it when I'm led down on my left side-I can't sit up or prop myself up.

Iv had lower back ache like period pains for the last week or so,and seems to be getting worse now its getting a tad colder too.

My lower back is agony, I'm walking like an old woman. But mine is just achy, I really think I've just overdone it walking around and my long commute to work.

I woke up last week with the most horrendous lower back ache, the pain woke me up, I was convinced I was going into labour.
I called my mum, she said have a warm bath.
Question- have you been to the toilet properly?
It ended up being constipation related lol

Thanks for all your replies. I have been timing braxton hicks, approx 30 mins apart. Gonna have a bath in a mo. Normally I am not that frequent re number 2's, but this week I have been every day which is not like me!! lol
