Lower leg cramp, sleepless nights and serious pain constantly! Advice please?

For a long time now i hve been getting cramps inmy lower left leg, its pretty much every day now and every night, i cant sleep of a night because im in so much pain and it just doesnt go away, it shoots right up my leg and gives me serious problems all through the day, i struggle to even get down on the floor with my son to play, soon as i do i get cramp, any ideas or suggestions?? At te point where i cant bare it no more
