LTTC #1 looking for a LTTC pal

I did, thanks. I hope you did too.

Today I'm 2-3 dpo. I guess I will know in a week.

Well good luck! I am still waiting for ovulation...my OPK keeps giving me a big fat O everyday.

I know something is off with my body because my opk's were pos for at least 4 days. I gave up teting tuesday morning because it started pissing me off. throughout this entire ttc process, I always have several days of pos and I'm sick of it. I don't think a proper ov is supposed to have really pos opks that long. It's like my body gears up to ovulate but I think there's a problem releasing an egg. Times like this I feel frustrated with my body. I'm really hoping that next month the FE can tell me something or have a good treatment plan for me. Sorry about my rant....

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your pos opk soon!!!

That is crazy! Did you bring that up to the dr? I have never heard of an OPK being pos for that long. Do you have any good news? You should be about 13 dpo now right? I just had my surgery yesterday, it was pretty awful waking up. I am feeling better now though. Sorry I haven't written back sooner I have been so busy trying to get stuff done before this surgery. How have you been doing? When is your next appt?

Thats ok...I've been more of a lurker the past few days. No not yet, I will speak to the dr next week when we meet for my plan of treatment. I'm 12 dpo according to ff. Af normally comes on cd 27 today but it hasn't showed up yet. Ff says its due tuesday since I ov late so we'll see. I got a bfn today. Right now im just waiting and praying.

How was your surgery? Did the find endo? Waking up groggy was pretty sucky but it was the same for my foot surgery. How are you feeling?

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! The worst is when you are late and then AF shows :(

My surgery went okay. I woke up feeling so awful like my insides had been scraped and I felt like I was going to throw up. They must have given me something for the nausea b/c that went away pretty quick, they had to give me two doses of pain meds through IV and that didn't help so they gave me two percocet pills. They got me out of there pretty quick, really before I felt like I should be leaving but oh well. The pains in my shoulder were soo unbearable. My dr told me to prop myself up using pillows under my butt and amazingly that made the pain in my shoulder completely stop when I would stand up it would return instantly. I laid like that for the first day and night and now I have no gas pains which is good. Still very sore inside though. They found a cyst on my ovary and the dr told me by blood work came back with low AMH levels, I guess she thinks the cyst might be causing the low levels. I googled AMH though and it is a bad hormone to have low :( She also found two bad spots of endo which she took care of. So I have my post op appt in 2 weeks, but she already pretty much told me I can be referred to a specialist now that we know my AMH levels are low. So I feel bummed out I don't think the surgery is going to be the magic fix I thought it would be.

Hey Apple!

It feel like forever! I had to take a break from the website for my sanity…I was getting obsessed. I’m going to limit my appearance to only a couple times a week not several times a day.

I’m glad your surgery went well but I’m sorry to hear about your AMH levels, maybe your body just needs time to bounce back. On average it might take 2-3 months for levels to show a difference.

I am going to have a second lap to excise the endo as compared to the ablation on the first one. They will also remove two fibroids. They told us to wait 6-8 weeks before resuming ttc. After that we will decide what the next step will be.

I hope you’re feeling better and good luck!
