Well we've been trying for four years nearly and we just got our first positive result from ICSI/IVF 5 day frozen embryo blast. I stayed up all night before the test, worrying and ready to comfort my wife for the inevitable negative result. When I told her it was positive, it was one of the few times we've both been speechless!
According to the hospital, she's four weeks gone and book in for her first scan at the beginning of May. If the online calculators are right, she's due on the 17th December.
Right now, I can't stop smiling. And after trying for so long, a thought has just occured to me. I know nothing about babies. Never even held on. I even found myself googling earlier "What do newborns eat?" I guess I should get a book!
